

- Your car will become our sole property once we have accepted it at our Island scrappage centre and we will be free to dispose of the vehicle as we see fit.
- We will ensure that the vehicle is not returned to the road.
- You and all previous owners/registered keepers will remain legally responsible for any matters relating to the car while it was in your ownership/registered in your name.
- The travel pass will be issued and remain at all times subject to our normal terms and conditions in respect of our ‘Freedom’ passes.
- The travel pass will be issued only to the person who was the registered owner of the vehicle exchanged, and will not be transferrable.
- The applicant will need to produce: one form of photographic identification (passport of photo card driving licence) in the name
of the registered keeper of the vehicle to be exchanged; and the vehicle registration document.
- The applicant will need to supply two further photographs that are identifiable as the registered keeper of the vehicle. One of these photographs will be incorporated into the travel pass and the other will be retained by the company for its records.
- The pass is non refundable either in whole or part.
- The exchange in its entirety is non refundable and is absolute.
- The vehicle exchanged must be free from any hire purchase, lease or other finance agreements. You will need to sign a disclaimer stating that you are legally entitled to dispose of the vehicle to us, and which will leave you responsible for the vehicle should it subsequently transpire that you were not.
